Merve Şehnaz AKBULUT, a doctoral student in our department, has been accepted for her project titled "Application and Characterization of Functionalized Carbon Nanofiber/Functionalized Waste Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Polyaniline Nanocomposites as Lightning Protection Layers for Aviation Composites," submitted under the TÜBİTAK 1002-B Emergency Support Program.
Our student, Merve Şehnaz AKBULUT, is leading the project. Prof. Dr. Engin BURGAZ is a researcher, and Prof. Dr. Özgür DEMİRCAN is an advisor. The project will focus on improving the lightning protection effectiveness of aircraft fuselage structures in aviation.
