During a technical visit to Sampa Automotive organized by our department's faculty member, Prof. Dr. Özgür DEMİRCAN, on April 30, 2025, they had the opportunity to examine the company's production and quality control processes on-site. The trip began with a visit to the company's R&D laboratory, where they learned detailed information about product design, engineering analysis, and prototyping processes.
Then, they observed spare part production processes, particularly bellows production, using injection and molding methods. Our students were informed about surface treatment technologies, such as electrolytic coating and dipping, applied throughout the production line to increase the durability of parts.
The final part of the technical visit included a visit to the quality control laboratory, where they were shown how manufactured parts are tested for compliance with international standards. They were also informed about the methods used to evaluate criteria such as mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality.
This technical visit provided our students with the opportunity to observe their theoretical knowledge in a real-world production environment, significantly contributing to their professional knowledge and experience.
